The site lies to the South of Canada Way in the small attractive town of Liphook, North Hampshire and is conveniently located near to the A3 and Liphook mainline station, providing excellent links to London and the South coast particularly following the opening of the Hindhead tunnel.
The land is currently allocated for industrial and business use and represents the last undeveloped part of the former OSU development. The site has significant planning history and currently has the benefit of an outline consent for an assisted living led scheme including some retail, commercial and affordable housing. This consent was renewed by East Hampshire District Council on the 20th June 2011.
The site is approximately 4.45 acres and access to the proposed development will be from Canada Way. The proposed development will provide a total of 58 residential dwellings being a mix of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes and allows provision for the delivery of assisted living and come limited small scale commercial use.
The immediate surrounding area of the site is characterised by existing residential properties with the Village Green, Millennium Hall nd Sainsbury's Supermarket to the north of the proposed development.
