The above parcel of land (outlined in red) forms part of the final phase of the Oak Tree Place development known as Dowd's Farm in Hedge End. The site is approximately 1.4 acres, which has the benefit of detailed planning permission for 38 flats and townhouses.
Barratt Homes Southampton have agreed to aquire the land from Bovis Homes and re-plan the current planning permission to provide a total of 35 townhouses and coach house appartments.
The replan provides more family orientated accomodation by reducing the number of flats from 19 to 4 and increasing the number of houses from 19 to 31.
The houses provide 3 and 4 bedroom options and include designs which provide roof terraces and lining rooms overlooking the Urban Park and pond.
An application will be made to Eastleigh Borough Council by the 22nd December. If you would like to comment on the proposals, please do so via the contact link above.
