Current Developments
Following an Outline planning permission for 225 new homes (granted at appeal in 2021) Barratt David Wilson Homes achieved Reserved Matters consent in August 2023 for the development. A range of 1-4 bedrooms homes can now be provided in the form of terraced, semi-detached and detached houses, including 67 affordable homes within the following tenures: affordable rent, shared ownership and, subject to a current application, First Homes. The scheme will also deliver the following community facilities on site:
Barratt David Wilson Southampton will also be contributing in excess of £2.75 million toward highway and cycle route improvements, education provision, healthcare, emergency services, public art and community facilities, such as libraries, sports pitches and swimming pools.
